The God Who Speaks - with Brad Jersak

Greetings to all of you who have signed up for the God Who Speaks Newsletter. We're trying something a little different this time--welcome to the world of "blogging." If I can get it to work, I hope to make the newsletter more accessible and a bit prettier.

For today's newsletter, I have a delicious story to share.

Recently at our church, a six year old boy dragged his dad, who is a clinical psychologist, over to the communion table. He started feeding his dad the bread and said, "The more you eat, the bigger the blessing." The dad asked, "Who told you that?" The child replied, "Jesus told me. He says its a yummy password."

The child then started sharing the wine with his dad, and repeated,"The more you drink, the bigger the blessing." Again the dad asked,"Who said that?" And the boy said, "Jesus told me. He says its another yummy password."

Today, you might ask the Lord, "What do passwords do? How is the Lord's table a password?
What other passwords do you have for me?" It's a great conversation starter!
